Purvis: Mortgage error by Clydesdale bank must be resolved quickly

Commenting on the news that Clydesdale bank customers will have to pay back sums of money because of an error in the calculation of mortgage repayments, Liberal Democrat finance spokesperson Jeremy Purvis MSP said:

“This is deeply regrettable given the relatively good record of Clydesdale during the banking crises.

“We must simply hope that this is a one off and the obvious frustration of customers will be resolved as quickly as possible.”
